On August 8th, Guangzhou's Yunxi Botanical Garden officially opened after 3 years of reconstruction. On the opening day, the Guangzhou International Cooperation Center (GICC) and the Guangzhou Forestry and Landscaping Bureau jointly invited over 10 foreign friends from Japan, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh to tour the garden. Immersed in the picturesque greenery of the botanical garden, they explored and learned about various rare, new, and native plants, which allowed guests to delve into the mysteries of the plant world and appreciate the exquisite and beautiful landscape of the botanical garden. With its rich biodiversity and carefully curated plant collections, the Yunxi Botanical Garden, stands as a testament to Guangzhou's commitment to ecological preservation and international cooperation.

历时3年精心打造，云溪植物园于8月8日正式揭幕开园。作为以华南国家植物园为核心构建的城园融合体系迁地保护示范区中率先建成的植物园，云溪植物园的核心在于植物迁地保育，并统筹就地保护与迁地保护，将承接国家植物园体系物种保育、科学研究、资源利用、科普宣教和园林园艺展示等重要任务。

开园当天，广州国际交流合作中心与广州市林业和园林局共同邀请了10余名来自日本、意大利、印尼、巴基斯坦、孟加拉等国的外籍友人入园参观。夏日炎炎依旧挡不住国际友人们的热情，置身于植物园风景如画的绿色胜地，参观了园林内的各种珍稀、新优、本土等特色植物，探索植物世界的奥秘，欣赏精致优美的园林艺术。本次活动使在穗国际友人充分感受了广州这座现代化国际大都市的生态之美。
